Welcome Norah!

A couple of weeks ago, we got to fly back to Oklahoma to meet our brand spanking new, cutest ever niece.  Norah Everage Mathe was born on 9/16, and we are beyond in love with her.  Everyone is doing awesomely!

 We left on wednesday afternoon, and B was a good traveler.  A nice man at LAX gave us his leftover calamari b/c B (and jess and I) were eyeing on his table.  Our seats were not together on the flight to denver, and after the first girl we asked denied our request to switch seats, a nice man quickly volunteered to switch with Jess so we could sit together.  Then B slept the whole way to Denver.  We arrived to OKC late, and Nana and Happy picked us up and we stayed at Lauren's house, excited to meet Norah the next day!

 We got to the hospital as a photographer was snapping some photos of the sweet family.

On Friday, they got to come home from the hospital, so we cleaned up the house and let them have some time just the 3 of them.  We went to gram's house to meet up with the Schatzels for a lunch at Pops.  The cousins are just too cute together.  It was a quick visit but very necessary.

We went back to the Mathes (after a fun shopping spree with Nana and Happy!).  This is the green belt behind the Mathes' backyard.  It is awesome. This sidewalk goes a long way in both directions and B was loved to run up and down it.  She fell a lot on this trip and scraped up her knees.  She even got her first band-aid!

On Saturday, we watched college football (Norah's first game day!) and just hung out, ate delicious food that other people brought over, and passed Norah around.  It was a great day!

 On Sunday morning before we headed to the airport, we posed the girls in matching outfits for some pics.  I got a couple , but the really good ones are on Nana's camera.  I'll have to post those later!

We got lucky from OKC to denver and there was an empty seat beside Jess.  B napped.  Denver to LAX…different story.  In fact, it was the worst plane trip with B so far.  She fussed the entire time.  Nothing was working!  She was moving constantly.  Since we have been home, 4 new teeth have sprung up, so it could have been that.  But, man oh man. 

 We took advantage of Jess not working on Monday and had an awesome family beach trip to Larry's and the water.  This was a great way to get back into the LA groove.
