Halloween

It was a fun Halloween this year with the Nugg! She spent a lot of time on the porch sitting on the pumpkins (our only Halloween decoration…if you don't count the real spiderwebs spun every night):

On the day before Halloween, we went shoe shopping at the mall.  We decided B should wear her ladybug costume.  This was just a warm up for the real day.
Everyone loved the little ladybug running up and down the aisles.  She was being extra friendly and flirty this day and had to hug and talk to every little person we encountered.  She made a lot of friends.

Look closely at the picture below...

Blonde lady?? No…that is a really old, creepy man dressed as a woman (and not for Halloween) creeping on my daughter.  We left immediately.

We decided on Game of Thrones characters for Halloween this year.  You could call us big fans of the show.  Borderline obsessed.  We did not want to spend any/a bunch of money, so we had to get creative. Much of this creativity was put into work on the eve of Halloween.

Leon was Ghost, John Snow's direwolf.  I glued grey felt to the pink of these cat ears to make them look more wolf like.  Leon wore it. Costume complete

Halloween Jammies on halloween eve!  This girl had a good amount of candy during the holiday! She loves her rocking chair from nana and happy!

Halloween Day
We were so excited to have daddy home with us all day!
I made spooky barn doors for breakfast.

We ran errands in costume.

I had a craving for biscuit dough donuts so I made some!  why not?!

Then we put on our costumes!

After a backyard photoshoot, we headed to a baby party at a house on the canals.  Around 5, the party walked through the canals in our costumes and played at the park for a minute.  Then it was back to our house to pass out candy.  THEN we walked to the charbonnets to cap the night off.  What a great day!

This is Liz (charb's mom) donning my wig…which was actually a Taylor Swift wig.  fun times.
