Happy and Nana Visit!

Happy and Nana came for 5 whole days over Nana's birthday weekend =).  Sadly, Jess had to work most of the time, but we had lots of fun hanging in the backyard, going on walks, going to the beach, and eating yummy food!

As soon as they arrived, Breckin showed them her play area on the side yard.  She was loving on Nana inside the teepee.  So cute.
Friday, I dropped Nana and Breckin off at the Magic Forest while I went grocery shopping by MYSELF! it was amazing.  We spent the afternoon at the Annenberg community beach house in Santa Monica.  We had a tasty lunch with a view of the pacific. Shrieked with delight at the splash pad. Played in the sand and waves.  And swung in a big girl swing.

A splash pad with a view!

 These two love each other!

We walked to breakfast Saturday morning and watched some OSU football during B's nap.  (sad) Then we headed to Underwood Family Farms for an afternoon at the Harvest Festival.  We went last year, and we decided it should be a family tradition.

 B loved all the animals!

This was the one day that daddy got to be with us!
She loved picking up the pumpkins.  She was trying to eat them!

looking into the sun…jess's faces crack me up!

It took us a solid 30 minutes to make it through the corn maze!! It is legitimate! This hay pyramid was the ending point.  whew!  Jim was collecting corn in case we had to stay the night!

She picked out her pumpkin!

We celebrated Nana's birthday on Sunday morning with a waffle cake.  30 looks good on Nana!

Miss Sass sassin' it up.  We went for a walk to the antique/flea mart and found a cute rocking chair that is breckin sized. The crazy mosaic house was open to the public, so we did a walk through.  So. Much. Mosaic.

B cut her leg on this bench for the picture. oops.

The weather turned colder sunday evening.  We put on some sleeves, fired up the grill and the fire pit, and had a steak night for Nana's birthday.
Monday morning, we took a walk to the park and B loved playing with this lawnmower.

And swinging with Happy.

Then, they were off to the airport!  What an awesome 5 days!! Can't wait until Christmas.
