We had a fun filled family father's day weekend. Saturday started with errands and a trip to the ice cream shop! B got her own cone with sprinkles. She was pretty happy about that. Then we hung in the backyard, ate lunch and played in the pool. After nap time we were heading B's first Dodgers game!
We took the train to Union Station where we hopped a dodger express bus to the game. Definitely the way to travel. B is already an old pro at riding the metro!
We had the cheap seats above right field. It was directly in the sun and it was a HOT day! It was a good thing we all had hats and sunscreen on!
B loved her first Dodger Dog! Mommy and Daddy had TWO! and nachos...
bump pic! 15 weeks
Dodgers lost in a bad way to the Giants (boo!) but we still had a blast cheering them!
We got B outfitted in some proper dodger gear complete with a Clayton Kershaw jersey =)
We love LA! We love it!
FATHER'S DAY
B and I headed out for some special pastries and coffee from our neighborhood bakery, Superba. We got a chocolate croissant, a bacon/cheddar biscuit, and a banana/nutella pop tart. They were all yummy!
Daddy immediately put on his present from B and I: an adult onesie that he has been wanting for awhile.
B fell asleep on her daddy while he was massaging her shoulders.
We cooked a yummy dinner of steak, baked potatoes, and a yummy eggplant/corn/onion/tomato/basil concoction w/ eggplant and basil from the garden. Jess had a fun beer and I had a fun root beer. Happy Father's Day to one of the best!
