Although String Cheese Incident was not in the line-up this year…we had an awesome time at the Jubilee for our second year in a row.
Daddy and Breckin were practicing their jamming skills the night before we left. We were so excited!
As we packed up the car the morning of, I told Breckin we needed to take a picture before we left, and she said "Ok, I'm gonna sit on this rock" and proceeded to pose for me!
The mandatory family photo in front of the yakima! (could my face look any more bloated?!?…my family sure is cute though)
We met at the Hinton's Friday morning for donuts and coffee before we headed out. The same crew as last year went. The Zaubis, The Hintons and The Royalls. 6 "adults" and 3 two year olds! Jess had to work all day Friday, so B and I hitched a ride with the Hintons and Jess drove up that evening.
Although there are 2 lakes and lots of trees, this is not necessarily "nature camping" (as you can see from the apartment buildings directly behind us) We were happy we snagged this tree and were really happy with our site. Close to the water (behind me in the pic above) but not so close that the kids would run and fall in. Just across the lake from us was the stage and we could hear the music from our campsite as if we were sitting right in front of the stage. This came in handy when the kids had to nap, we were eating, or we just couldn't hang with the late night show.
B always sleeps so well in the tent!
If we weren't watching music, we were at the splash pad, pool, or park (which you could still hear the music…awesome)
Breckin dancing on night one in her new dress.
This wagon comes in so handy! Although it doesn't look like it by their faces, the kids love it!
Of course there was lots of swinging.
Squint and you can see B and daddy at the top of the slide. She went down this thing over and over and over and over.

She loved the pool this year! We even dunked her a few times. I gotta get this girl into swim lessons. Here she is drinking the water. She is constantly trying to drink water that is not for drinking.

Another successful jubilee in the books! Even for this prego!
