Fajitas and Friends

Nice little Saturday. Jess took B to get cro-nuts (donuts made out if croissant dough) and coffee. This gave me about an hour to myself. I set out to accomplish nothing and watched trash tv for an hour. It was awesome. 

Then we watched more trash tv as the jayhawks and cowboys both lost their season closers.  Jess made the backyard look nice and pretty for our fajita night.

I went for a Mani/pedi and grocery shopping by myself!! It is so strange going out by myself. Especially driving. B is usually a fixture in my backseat and it is strange when she is not there! B was not very happy for daddy and cried most of the 2 hours I was out :/

Then it was fajita making time! We made chicken and steak fajitas for the Charbs and Ryan and serene. B said a quick hello when they arrived and then she was off to bed for the duration of a nice adult evening. We sat outside until 11 pm!! That is so late for us! It was a delicious, beautiful evening with the fire out going. These nights will need to happen more :)
