Papa and Gaga came for the 7th annual march madness visit. We figured this out because the very first one was at the Santa Monica apartment when Ben was 4 months old!
My parents arrived wednesday evening on their 36th wedding anniversary. We celebrated with a crab leg boil and ate outside. The next 4 days we set the TV up on the back patio and watched the madness until we could not watch anymore. Thankfully, the cowboys waited to lose until Friday evening, so we got to watch with hopeful spirits for a day and half.
There was a lot of reading with papa and gaga. they brought special books and toys from the farm for B. I Love You Stinky Face is now one of her favorite books. Last time P and G saw B was at Christmas when she was soooo sick the whole time, so she was like a brand new kid to them! She wowed them with her smarts and vocabulary. And they cuddled up for a million episodes of Curious George on the iPad.
We posted the schedule on the first day…but never updated it after this!
Natalie, charb, Isla, ryan, and serene stopped by a couple of times. B and Isla had a glorious reunion. It had been since before christmas since we'd seen the charbs!
Jess and I got to go on TWO dates! One day date to breakfast and home depot to buy our garden supplies. And one night date for beach sunset and dinner. Awesome! We got our garden going for the spring and so far everything is still alive and growing!

And as always, Monday came too fast. We love our lazy, march madness tradition and just wish our teams would make it through the weekend….just once!!
