12 in 12 Field Trips: Olvera Street Market (#3 in March)

A few months ago we took a trip to an old market downtown called the Olvera St. Market.  Olvera St. is one of if not the oldest streets in Los Angeles. They have a street market that is tucked away between some of the oldest restaurants in Los Angeles. We headed out to go get some blankets, toys, tasty mexican food, and ice cream.
At the metro station.

Ridding the Train!

 Union Station.

Walking the market.

Breckin hogged the ice cream.

Found some perfect blankets.

After walking the market for a long time we stepped out of the head and got some delicious tacos and Margaritas. We ate at El Paseo which is one of the oldest Restaurant in LA.  It was a perfect end to our field trip.

We rode the train back home and were pretty beat after a sunny day of riding trains and walking around Downtown Los Angeles.
