Back at the end of May, we loaded up the family of 4 for a 10 day trip to Oklahoma! This was Jude's first time on a plane and first trip to OK. We were also going to meet our new niece, Claire, for the first time!
I surprised B with animal cookies for the flight, but she didn't like them. Backfire.
Flight of beer before flight with child is a must. We were also celebrating daddy's 34th birthday!
Jude did great on the flight, and we even had a layover. Our first stop in OK was Edmond to see the mathes!
It was fun watching Norah and Breckin play together. Breckin enjoyed taking the "older" cousin role and bossing Norah around a bit.
There was a lot of nursing of babies! =)
and playing with Happy
Jude wore a ball cap for the first time
And sweet Claire Lillian! born 5-17-2016
While in Edmond, Kendra went into early labor with little Walker at just 37 weeks! Walker was in the NICU but I got to take Kendra and her fam a braums lunch at their new farmhouse outside of Edmond. Breckin played with Isaac and Lola like they were old pals. It was so cute!

Uncle Jess and sweet Claire
Then it was off to Grand Lake! We took an evening boat cruise as soon as we landed. My oh my. We love the lake.
We did all the typical lake things. Coffee on the deck. Lots of swinging and nature hikes around the house. The swim dock was new this year and it made swimming in the cove and hanging down at the water so much easier and fun! The water was pretty cold, but we jumped in a few times.
She took a 4+ hour nap this day and only woke up b/c she got stung by a wasp! =(

We even got a date night! We drove the boat at sunset to a restaurant on the water.
Happy Memorial Day!
Then it was off to Tulsa to see the fam before heading to Seminole.
Jude did not like all the car riding. He cried pretty much the whole time in the car.
Farm! Just in time to see the Thunder get beat by the Warriors in the west coast finals.
The shenanigans GG and BB got into this trip! We left them to their own devices a little too long at times. There was the make up and the mani/pedis, the markers on the floor at pop and gogs, and the ink pad incident all over themselves and Lolo's floor and walls. Eek.
Running in the morning rain.

I managed to put 3 children down for a nap simultaneously
the fowlers came over one night and we drank all the wine and all the whiskey and felt it the next day. Hard.
B turned into a budding artist
Mimi came for a night!
We got to watch GG's dance recital dress rehearsal
nailed it
B wanted to be on stage with the dancers!
Jude got to love on everybody
We had a mini celebration for B's 3rd birthday
Jess and I were so impressed with all the wildflowers we saw all over the state, including in our pasture. I had envisioned wildflowers in the wedding pasture 5 years ago and even spent a whole day sewing wildflower seeds by hand...too bad it was the biggest drought in history and nothing was even green, but I am going to believe that these are those wildflowers I dropped =)
Pond is full
We spent a night at Tyler and Lindsey's...Matt got some snuggles
Aunt Cox swooped in the day we left with a visit!
The famous dress that aunt pam made Lauren and she took a famous pic on the steps at Grandma Freda's house. GG took the same pic and now B. She was not feeling like a photo shoot.
Cousin pic!
Then we were back to LA. I don't think it could have been a more perfect trip. Filled to the brim with fun, family, friends, and love. See you in September OK
