Swim Lessons With Conrad

B had a few swim lessons last summer that were fun, but she wasn't making much progress.  We decided to go a different route and try a 5 day intensive group class with the child whisperer, Conrad.
I am so glad we did!  By the first day she was going under water willingly, opening her eyes, and holding on to the ledge  (hesitantly at first). By day 2, she was jumping of the side, swimming underwater and retrieving dive toys! She LOVED Conrad immediately, and she was definitely the class clown.  She would crack all the grown ups up with silly, LONG, stories.  Conrad pointed to jess and said "Who is that?" and B said "thats my boyfriend. I met him 3 days ago on the beach." what?!

One day after class, we picnicked and explored a nearby park that we had never been too.

It was amazing the mutual respect conrad was able to establish with the 1.5-5 year olds. They would all sit patiently on the step or hang on to the side waiting their turn.

Once B established a love for going under water and looking around, she wouldn't stop!  She got in trouble for not listening to Conrad when he asked her to stop and she had to sit on the side =/  By class 4, she had gotten a little TOO comfortable.

She asks to go to Conrads to swim everyday since.  She loves to be in the water and most of the fear has vanished.  We can't wait for Jude to take next year!
