Reunion in the AZ

Jess, Me, Brandon, Adam and Tiff enjoying the Scottsdale life

So jess and I were finally on our way to move me into California! The day we have been counting down the days to for almost a whole year! I shed a few tears as we rolled out of boulder, but then quickly grew excited for the future. We had road tripped to LA from boulder once before (in august) and decided to take a detour route to avoid Utah (their state motto should be "Utah...the most god awful state to drive through"), but more importantly to visit my long lost seminole friends in Scottsdale, AZ!! We headed out on the 12 hour quest keeping busy by looking at the lovely colorado scenery (I-25 conveniently runs parallel to the rockies all the way through New mexico, which makes for lots of prettiness), and trying to guess what the weird smells were that we encountered everywhere in New mexico. We finally made it to my buddies house at about 9:30 on the 27th. (we stayed at Brandon Adams and Matt Loziers, two of my homies from the nole...sadly, Lozier was in OK) Brandon had a couple of beers ready for us and Talladega nights playing on the TV. It was great to get to see an old, familiar face!

The next morning we awoke, and walked down the street a few blocks to seek out somewhere for breakfast. We feasted and headed back to Brandon's to find Adam and Tiiffany (2 more buddies from seminole!) They were in town to go to the Fiesta Bowl (poor sooners) we headed to a bar called the Tilted Kilt to catch the O-State bowl game (woop woop!) and then headed for a nice sea food dinner courtesy of Adam's mom and dad. We had a great time with lots of great conversation. What a nice pit stop on our journey. Thanks brandon!
