We took our fourth field trip of the year to the Natural History Museum. It is downtown-ish by USC, so we hopped the train in Culver City and it dropped us off right in front of the museum! Breckin loves the train! And, oh yeah! Our friends, Wilder and Brooke, joined in on the fun!
Squeezing in a George while we wait for our ride to the train station.
She sat in her own seat there and back. She said "train" a lot and smiled and looked around. She pointed out a "girl" who was sitting with her "bike" and flirted with her for awhile.
breckin + wilder. Field trip buddies.
the train literally dropped us off across the street.
Dinos!
This crazy, old, man, museum greeter attacked us and forced us to take these pictures while harassing us with weird conversations.
act scared! I love how wilder and breckin are rolling their eyes at their crazy mamas.
I didn't take any more inside pics b/c Breckin made me hold her the whole time. She was pretty scared of the life size stuffed creatures in the dark hallways, but pretty impressed with the collection of dinosaur foot bones. We made up new game called "Dinosaur Toes!" on the train ride home b/c she kept talking about the "dinosaur foots". You hold up 3 fingers in the shape of dino toes and you yell "dinosaur toes!! and tickle the other person with your dino toes. It is thrilling.
We cruised around the gemstones and crystals for a good while and then headed out to the outdoor park area for a snack.
Modeling how to drink water while resting on a rock.
Tunnel!
We hopped the train back home and these 2 were out in no time.
We are loving these field trips!
