*awoke around 10 a.m.! woops! we meant to get an early start.
*Had a pop tart for breakfast and packed up.
*Went to Paradise for a hike (famous for their wildflowers)
*July and August is usually the prime time for the wildflower season, but since they had record snow fall this year, all the snow had not melted get for us to see the wildflower blooming awesomeness. I was a bit bummed about this, but we did get to see a few.
*Went on a hike for wildflowers to Bench Lake. So much snow on this hike!! We had a bet that whoever slipped on the hike had to buy dinner that night in Seattle. About 3 miles round trip.
*Set out for Seattle. Easy drive. arrived around 4:30. Checked into another classy hotel. But again...awesome location right by Pike's Market.
*Strolled through Pike's Market, but everything was closed =(. Went for a beer right on the water.
*Seattle is so pretty!!!
*Went to "Freaky" Fremont Street. Fun Bars and ate sushi at a restaurant with a conveyer belt! I've always wanted to do one of these.
*Went to a bar called High Dive. Solo guitar guy playing sad, depressing tunes. made us tired. went back to hotel.
