7.7.08 Burney Falls, CA

Lane Wrote:

*Left festival around 10:30 am and went for a REAL breakfast at a cafe in Quincy with Trent and Dave.
*We liked T and D so much we brought them with us to our next camping destination in Burney Falls. (They are from Seattle anyway, so it was on their way.)
*We arrived at our campsite around 2:30 and headed straight to the beautiful Burney Lake!
*We rented a boat (a little metal thing) and had a ball.
*We cooked up a smorgasboard of Crab legs, corn on the cob, and Sausage/veggie hobo dinners. I severed my thumb cutting the onions. ouch! we had a first aid kit, thank goodness. About the time of the goulash I grew incredibly dizzy and went to bed.
*The boys stayed up and made smores. We all were in bed early.

that looks beautiful.

i'm gonna bet it's the home-cooked crab legs that gave you dizzy disease.
